Yoldia Scandinavia took shape in the landscape of Lake Vanajavesi, where the traces of the Ice Age, stone, metal, wood and water are part of the everyday environment.
Yoldia objects bring function and sculptural form together. The character of the material is allowed to remain visible and tangible – on the table, in the home and as part of lived spaces.
RUOTO TRAY
Ruoto is one of Yoldia Scandinavia’s most recognisable forms. Its steel structure brings serving, table setting and sculptural presence together: it can live on the table in use or become a graphic element on the wall.
Use it in table settings
You can serve hot on top of Ruoto, and illuminate the table in an atmospheric way using the tealight holders made of stunning spectrolite or soapstone.
Hang it on the wall
Ruoto tray has many functions. At its simplest, you can use it on the table as a table decoration and coaster, or hang it on the wall as a sculpture.
